What Is Recycable Pakaging?
BOPE, or Biaxially Oriented Polyethylene, is a film produced by sequentially stretching special LLDPE (Linear Low-Density Polyethylene) raw materials first longitudinally and then transversely. This process significantly enhances its physical properties compared to polyethylene films produced by traditional blown or cast methods. Notably, even with a 50% reduction in thickness, BOPE maintains key performance characteristics equivalent to other polyethylene films.

Single-Material Composition ≈ Recyclability
Recyclability refers to the suitability of materials to be recovered and reused, playing a crucial role in environmental protection and energy conservation. Currently, most recyclable products are composed of single materials. While composite materials can also be recycled in principle, they require separation technologies to divide the materials before reprocessing, which is often costly and technologically challenging. Therefore, recyclable products are generally synonymous with single-material compositions.
Among these, the combination of BOPE and PE is prevalent. Essentially, both materials are polyethylene (PE), forming a single-material structure that can be directly recycled into new products without the need for separation. For example, a plastic bag made from BOPE and PE can be recycled after use to produce items like garbage bags. After multiple recycling stages, if such BOPE+PE materials are eventually landfilled, they can decompose naturally within 3 to 5 years, minimizing environmental pollution.

Single-material BOPE+PE structures are suitable for soft packaging bags in various sectors, including daily chemicals, food, and pharmaceuticals.
